Acting upon the complaint of the anonymous submitter due to the alleged violation of the principles of the Montenegrin Journalists’ Code of Ethics in the text that conveys the statement of the president of the European Federation of Journalists, Maja Sever, published on the Portal Standard on September 16, the Complaints Commission of the Media Council for Self-Regulation makes the following decision

Considering the complaint submitted by the anonymous submitter due to the alleged violation of the principles of the Montenegrin Journalists’ Code of Ethics in the text that conveys the statement of the president of the European Federation of Journalists, Maja Sever, published on Portal Analitika on September 16, 2025, the Complaints Commission of the Media Council for Self-Regulation makes the following decision

Acting upon a complaint regarding alleged violations of Principles IV and VII of the Code of Journalists of Montenegro, concerning the article titled “PES Councillor in Berane Commented on Montenegro’s Independence Day Celebration with the Message ‘Blood Was Shed’” published by the CDM portal on 22 May 2025, the Complaints Commission of the Media Self-Regulation Council adopts the following decision

Acting on the complaint regarding the violation of Principle III of the Journalists' Code and the non-publication of a response to the article “Young man suspected of raping a dog,” published on 2 April 2025 on the Pobjeda portal, the Complaints Commission of the Media Council for Self-Regulation issues the following decision:

The Media Council for Self-Regulation received a complaint from Nataša Pejaković on May 8. In her complaint, Ms. Pejaković states:

“I am addressing you regarding yesterday’s broadcasts on TV NOVA M related to the indictment for the cowardly murder of Lipovina and Pejaković, in which an unblurred image of our child was shown. For the first time in six months, I saw my only child in the condition he was in — which I experienced as being murdered a second time. I cannot recover from the shock, nor can the rest of the family.
